Help End Menstrual Poverty. Period.
For Women’s Month, we are hosting our feminine product drive! Partnering with the Alliance for Period Supplies, we are hoping to help support women and girls all across the country who face period poverty. The Alliance works throughout the US to ensure that individuals in need have access to the essential period products they require to participate fully in daily life. This means supporting the 1 in 5 low-income women who miss work, school, or other activities due to lack of access to period supplies.
Here is where you will find everything you need to participate, get your friends and colleagues or join in, and answer any questions you might have. Our FAQs have a ton of resources, our list of products will help be your guide, and the identified locations for donation are below.
Throwing the gauntlet for our event and challenging each region to see who can collect the most items during the month. Beginning March 1, let’s see how much we can help the women facing period poverty in our communities. Click the button below to report your collections, and we will tally up at the end of the month which region has bragging rights for the next 365 days! Reach out to your friends, family, colleagues, or community to help bring awareness to this issue and support the ever growing need.

FAQs
What is a feminine product drive?
Similar to a food drive, a feminine product drive helps to gather items needed to support the end of period poverty. You can collect items and bring them to your local provider, list found here or below, or you can donate directly to the Alliance for Period Supplies and help them support the millions of women across the country to find dignity during their period week.
When is the drive?
This year, the drive will be the entire month of March to highlight and support each other during National Women’s Month. If you have a special post or donation, think about providing it on March 8 - International Women’s Day!
What should I share on my socials?
We love seeing the work on social media! Use the hashtags #endperiodpoverty and #womxninwater and be sure to tag @womxninwater and @periodsupplies on Instagram. Follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date and sign up for our mailing list here! There are also some great posts from APS highlighted below.

I just want to donate. What do I do?
First, thank you! Second, you can do a few things. If you would like to make a monetary donation, click here. Please be sure to include Womxn in Water in the comment section! If you would like to contribute to a specific state, get in touch here.
How will my donations help?
Your donation will help to relief the stress and bring awareness to this hidden part of poverty. 1 in 4 women in the US are unable to access the appropriate care needed during their period, your participation can help make that better!
